This is your time to shine, do everything right to become Superhosts, and get some 5-star ratings under your belt. The upside is that as a "new" lister, you will actually get a boost from Airbnb for the first 90 days to help you get started so your listing will actually, briefly, rank higher. You will lose the reviews you've maintained under the other host (the reviews are associated with the host as he/she hosted that location). ![]() Unfortunately, for you to break ties, you need to close that listing and re-list under your own profile. The positive things said about you as their hosts and point of contact are gone. The time you've been co-hosting for the previous owner, you have been contributing to their profile and reviews (because they are the listing Admin). This is an important distinction because when people purchase property that is being listed on the Airbnb platform, the success of the property goes with the host - you don't "buy" this history. ![]() Airbnb is Host-centric, not property-centric.
